Our new Practitioner Michelle Lawson is now seeing patients at Rosemary Street Health Centre. This has increased our appointments on the day by 92 per week!!!! Michelle will be working with us Monday to Thursday and I am sure you will join us in welcoming her to our team.
NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM
I am very exited to inform you that we have now received a date to commence a change over of our telephone system. This transition will start week commencing 9th March 2015 and on completion we will have more telephones to answer your calls resulting in less waiting time for you.
We have decided that during the busiest times – between 8:00 and 9:30 in the morning all front desk and back desk telephones will be enabled to take calls regarding appointments. After this time the phone system will revert back to redirecting to –
PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP UPDATE
Forest Medical PPG met yesterday 4th March 2015. We have decided to use the money raised so far to provide patient seating in the corridor outside Waiting Room 2. As we increase the amount of patients we see per day there are many times that I have seen patients standing in the corridor as the Waiting Room is full. We do intend to extend this waiting room in the future but in the meantime I would like to say a big “Thank you” to our PPG members for enabling the over flow of patients to be seated comfortably.

SUBJECT ACCESS REQUESTS
All patients are entitled to receive copies of their medical records which is often needed if you want to take relevant information to your private health service such as physiotherapy or osteopath. To speed up the process for you I have attached the Subject Access Request form HERE which you can hand in to reception once completed.
This form will then be passed to the Medical Secretarial Team who will raise an invoice for the relevant amount of administrative costs and then contact you when your information is ready to be picked up.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our patients and staff a very Happy Easter and hope that many of you will enjoy a nice break over the Bank Holidays. I will be on annual leave from 1st – 10th April enjoying some sunshine with my children and in my absence any queries you might have will be redirected to Charlotte Mellors, Reception Manager.
